Dear Santa, how are you? It's been a year since you came
Well my house is hard to find some times so i thought I’d write again
I hear your magic Reindeer can go higher than a plane
And you go as fast as lightning covering all the world's terrain
But I bet when you’re up that high all the rooftops look the same
Oh Santa don't forget our old white house on Cedar Lane
Oh Santa don't forget our old white house on Cedar Lane
Dear Santa, I do confess at the times I was a pain
I wore my muddy shoes inside after playing in the rain
And there was that time that I sore lost after playing school yard games
And I may have even been caught once or twice stealing candy canes
And if I get a lump of coal or two I know I was to blame
Oh Santa don't forget our old white house on Cedar Lane
Oh Santa don't forget our old white house on Cedar Lane
You can see our little Christmas tree lights from the window pane
And the pond next door it has a bird a heron or a crane
I can sing a carol just for you a holiday refrain
That way you won't forget our house the one on Cedar Lane
I will leave some milk and cookies by the chimney on a tray
Oh Santa don't forget our old white house on Cedar Lane
Oh Santa don't forget our old white house on Cedar Lane
Ohh, the one on Cedar Lane

Well it's Christmas Night on Commonwealth
By the sparkling Douglas fir
We are nestled by the T.V. set
It's only me and her
Had a big day with the family
Now it's time to settle in
And just lay here in our pj’s
‘Till the New Year rolls in
And the wind rattles the windows
But inside it's oh so warm
People gossip ‘bout the weather
Saying we might get a storm
But it's okay for us here
We are happy either way
Been watching Christmas Story
Movie on T.V. all day
And it's Christmas
Oh it's that special time of year
And it's Christmas
Bring good tidings spread the cheer
Merry Christmas
Oh and a happy New Year to you
Well that moonlit snowfall glistens
Outside those pretty lights
If you close your eyes and listen
Hear them carol silent night
And the only gift I’m wishing
Is to hold you close tonight
It's that special kind of feeling
Only comes at Christmas time
Well it's Christmas Night on Commonwealth
By the sparkling Douglas fir
We are nestled by the T.V. set
It's only me and her
Had a big day with the family
Now it's time to settle in
And just lay here in our pj’s
‘Till the New Year rolls in
And it's Christmas
Oh it's that special time of year
And it's Christmas
Bring good tidings spread the cheer
Merry Christmas
Oh and a happy New Year to you

My Christmas tree has coconuts
My presents are wrapped with leaves
How will Santa brings us gifts
When we have no a chimney
Instead of milk and cookies
Leave a fresh loaf candied bread
And a bucket filled with water
So the reindeer don’t get dead
My Christmas tree has coconuts
My wreath attracts the bees
Instead of using candy canes
Lets string up cranberries
And when we go a caroling
We don’t start until you sleep
So you can wake up to our song
And offer us a treat
My Christmas tree has coconuts
No snow for Santa's sleigh
Will the sand be fine enough
To slide him on his way?
On Christmas Eve we stay up late
And have a dance party
I get one present at midnight
And prance around with glee
My Christmas tree has coconuts
My presents are wrapped with leaves
How will Santa brings us gifts
When we have no a chimney
Instead of milk and cookies
Leave a fresh loaf candied bread
And a bucket filled with water
So the reindeer don’t get dead
My Christmas tree has coconuts
My Christmas tree has coconuts
My Christmas tree has coconuts
My Christmas tree has coconuts
My Christmas tree has coconuts
My Christmas tree has coconuts
My Christmas tree has coconuts
My presents are wrapped with leaves

Christmas Alone
03:59
|
|||
I play this record every time it starts to snows
I want to tell you that I miss you, and let you know
That spending christmas without you, is spending it alone
Spending christmas without you, is spending it alone
Christmas alone
We can talk on the phone
But it's not the same
And we both know it's lame
Roasting Chestnuts for one
Doesn’t sound like much fun
But crooners like Bing
Help to lessen the sting
When I'm running out of words to say, I say I love you
And when you come home we will have our own christmas for two
‘Cuz spending christmas without you, is spending it alone
Spending christmas without you, is spending it alone
Christmas alone
We can talk on the phone
But it's not the same
And we both know it's lame
I pick up a book
And read it aloud
It help pass the time
But there's no one around
Christmas alone
We can talk on the phone
But it's not the same
And we both know it's lame
I put up the tree
And hang up the lights
But who could foresee
Such lonely nights
Christmas alone
We can talk on the phone
But it's not the same
And we both know it's lame
Roasting Chestnuts for one
Doesn’t sound like much fun
But crooners like bing
Help to lessen the sting
Christmas alone
We can talk on the phone
But it's not the same
And we both know it's lame
I pick up a book
And read it aloud
It help pass the time
But there's no one around

Winter is Here
05:02
|
|||
I’m the mess
I'm the debris
Thats left behind
When everyone leaves
There's cigarette butts
In the poor dead plants
And the rug was moved
So that we could dance
There's somebody sleeping
Under the stairs
Confetti and stains
On the floor and the chairs
I’m a mess when, when winters here
I’m the mess when no one is near
The holidays have
Come and gone
I’m holding on
To a happy song
Now all that's left
Is a memory
When we held each other
In front of the tree
But the winter is
Closing in
And the dark
Times begin
I’m a mess when, when winters here
I’m the mess when no one is near
The night time frost
I can’t shake from my bones
I’m at a loss
And trapped in my home
I am tired
When the suns not around
Toes curled tight
No warmth to be found
Abandon my home
Placed in the ground
No lingering ghost
I will not be found
